| Abstract: | NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) May 5, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its preliminary ratings to DaimlerChrysler Auto Trust 2008-B's $1.085 billion asset-backed notes series 2008-B (see list). The preliminary ratings are based on information as of May 5, 2008. Subsequent information may result in the assignment of final ratings that differ from the preliminary ratings. The preliminary ratings reflect: -- The characteristics of the pool being securitized; -- The credit enhancement in the form of subordination, a reserve account, overcollateralization, and excess spread that is augmented through the yield supplement overcollateralization amount; -- The extensive performance and collateral data provided by DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas LLC; -- The timely interest and principal payments made under stressed cash |
