Abstract:NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) May 5, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-/A-1+' rating to Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority's series 2008A revenue bonds and to the series 2003A-TE bonds, which were converted from auction-rate mode to weekly variable-rate mode. The long-term component of the 'AA-/A-1+' rating is based on the obligor, The Nature Conservancy (TNC; AA-/Positive) and the short-term component of the rating is based on standby purchase agreements provided by Bank of America N.A. ('A-1+'). At the same time, Standard&Poor's assigned its 'AA-/A-1+' dual rating to the authority's series 2008 extendible liquidity securities issued for TNC. The rating outlook remains positive. The 'AA-' long-term rating reflects TNC's significant levels of cash and investments
