| Abstract: | Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A+' underlying rating (SPUR) on the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority's (UWHCA) $60.775 million series 2008B variable-rate demand bonds. The series 2008B bonds are being issued to refund in full UWHCA's series 2004 Ambac-insured bonds. The series 2008B bonds will be supported by a letter of credit (LOC) from U.S. Bank. Standard&Poor's will assign a rating based on the LOC separately. In addition, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'A+' SPUR on UWHCA's $55.6 million series 2002A bonds, which is a mode conversion from auction rate to variable-rate demand bonds with a U.S. Bank-supported standby bond purchase agreement (SBPA).
