Abstract:TORONTO (Standard&Poor's) May 1, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today said it revised the outlook on Royal Bank of Canada to stable from positive based on markedly diminished prospects for its retail banking operations in the U.S. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its ratings on the bank and its related entities, including the 'AA-' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term counterparty credit ratings. Royal Bank's related entities include but are not limited to: The Royal Trust Co., Royal Trust Corp. of Canada, RBC Bank (USA), RBC Capital Trust, and Royal Bank of Canada Insurance Co. Ltd.
