| Abstract: | NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) May 1, 2008--Standard&Poor's will hold a teleconference on Friday May 2, 2008, at 10 a.m. EDT (New York) to discuss its sovereign credit ratings on the Federative Republic of Brazil; the long-term foreign currency rating was raised to investment-grade 'BBB-' from 'BB+' on April 30, 2008. In addition, ratings actions taken on various Brazilian corporate, banks, and structured transactions will also be discussed.
