Abstract:BOSTON (Standard&Poor's) April 30, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its rating to 'AAA' from 'AA+' on Duxbury, Mass.' parity debt. In addition, Standard&Poor's assigned its 'AAA' rating to the town's series 2008 general obligation (GO) bonds. The outlook is stable. The 'AAA' rating reflects the town's affluent and diverse tax base, in addition to its strong financial position, which Duxbury has maintained over various economic cycles.
