Abstract:
An all-time record of some 2.45 million light passenger vehicles were sold in Brazil in 2007, up around 26% year-on-year. With use of installed capacity reaching 85%, companies plan to invest the equivalent of around 15 billion dollars in the next four or five years, to increase capacity from the current 3.5 million units per year to 5.0 million.
