Pepco Holdings (PHI) is an energy holding company, engaged in regulated utility operations and sale of competitive energy products and services to residential and commercial customers. The company recorded revenues of $8,362.9 million during the fiscal year ended December 2006, an increase of 3.7% over 2005. The increase in revenues was primarily due to growth in the number of customers for its power delivery segment and higher retail electricity customer load for Pepco Energy Services segment. The electric transmission system owned by PHI subsidiaries Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco), Delmarva Power & Light Company (DPL), and Atlantic City Electric Company (ACE), as on December 31, 2006 was approximately 3,600 transmission circuit miles of overhead lines and 160 transmission circuit miles of underground cables.
