So first, before I get into the specifics of our technology and the Company, I just want to kind of just set the context in terms of the colorectal cancer field in general, and just to talk about some facts that you may not be aware of. First of all, it's the most deadly cancer other than lung cancer. The irony is and the tragedy is that it's also one of the most preventable cancers out there if caught early, which is really where the rubber meets the road, and which underscores the problem that has existed in screening for some time. It's a treatable cancer and a curable cancer if caught early, but about two-thirds of colorectal cancers today are caught at a late stage.... |
