The Gale Company Profiles database contains detailed contact and company information--including corporate parent/sibling relationships, current address, financial, business, and marketing information--on approximately 455,000 U.S. and international private and public companies. Listed companies may be either headquarters or single-location establishments. Private-company information is gathered through questionnaires sent to private companies as well as by telephone interviews conducted with their authorized company personnel. Public-company information is obtained from annual reports, 10-K reports, other public records, and through interviews conducted by Gale editors. Data is verified and updated regularly by monitoring news wires, the business press, and through verification interviews with the listed companies.
