| Abstract: | JAPAN - Fuji Electric FA Components & Systems Co Ltd (FEFA), a wholly owned unit of Fuji Electric Holdings Co Ltd, agreed to merge its electric power distribution business with the same business of Schneider Electric Japan Ltd (SEJ), a manufacturer of electric switchboards and a unit of Schneider Electric SA, to form a joint venture company. Upon completion, new JV Company was to be owned 63% by FEFA, and 37% by SEJ. Also FEFA was to be renamed as Fuji Electric Assets Management, and SEJ was to be renamed as new Fuji Electric FA Components & Systems Co Ltd. |
