Abstract:UK - 3i Group PLC (3i) agreed to acquire the entire share capital of Radius Plastics Ltd, a Craigavon-based manufacturer of protective pipes, from Uponor Oyj, in a leveraged buyout transaction. Concurrently, 3i agreed to acquire Uponor Ltd. The two transactions were to have a combined value of 100 mil pounds ($195.46 mil) in cash, , and were to include the infrastructure business, located in Cork, Ireland, of UO.
