Innovation in communication
The push of 4G services by wireless telecommunications carriers will drive consumer demand and take-up, and resellers will do well to offer these services to capitalize on the growth aspect of this segment. However, VoIP service penetration is likely to increase, leaving reseller revenue streams for long distance and even local services vulnerable. As a result, competition will remain high, stifling overall revenue growth.
Industry operators resell various telecommunications services, including local, domestic and international calls as well as mobile telephony services. To provide these services, resellers purchase network access and capacity from network operators, avoiding the considerable costs that come with building and operating telecommunications infrastructure. They are, however, dependent on the policies and pricing strategies of such carriers. The industry does not include switched resellers.
The report covers the scope, size, disposition and growth of the industry including the key sensitivities and success factors. Also included are five year industry forecast, growth rates and an analysis of the industry key players and their market shares.
