BMI View: We maintain our positive outlook for the Turkish mobile market in the latest Q- ---- report update. Our forecast envisages a positive mobile market growth, driven by the uptake of advanced technologies, bolstered by the recent launch of -G services in the country in April ----. We believe that this will be matched by a higher degree of investments into fibre and VDSL services. However, we caution that there may be a significant number of inactive SIMs that have not yet been discounted and we believe that the organic subscriber rates will begin to slow down as mobile penetration rate inches towards --- . The mobile market will continue to grow, though at a slower pace, as operators focus on their postpaid base and as inactive prepaid subscriptions are being discounted. ...It is not yet clear if the company wants to enter as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) or as the fourth national operator. The company has an ambitious plan where it is looking to invest over USD--mn into infrastructure and capability development and aims to have over -mn subscribers by end of its first year in business.
