The Singapore government has maintained its immigration tightening campaign, and this has given rise to hiring constraints across the economy, particularly in the low to mid-skilled tiers, which are typically involved in construction works. ...While we believe that the non-residential segment in Singapore will perform better than the residential category over the coming years due to support from public infrastructure projects, we highlight that it faces challenges including a tight labour market.
