...The Africa Singapore Business Forum held in August resulted in the signing of several agreements, set to enhance trade relations. These include an air services agreement with Nigeria, an investment treaty with Mozambique and a double tax avoidance agreement with Ethiopia. Such initiatives improve integration with trade partners and encourage higher trade. Outside the context of the Forum, steps to strengthen trade with another African country were made with a group of investors from Singapore visiting Rwanda in September to boost trade ties.
