The operators have reported strong demand for -G network services and are now turning their focus to the -G LTE technology after the telecoms regulator awarded operator concessions to conduct -G trials. BMI has a positive outlook for Senegal s wireline broadband market, although growth will remain limited by the relatively small segment of the population that has access to fixed infrastructure and that can afford ADSL connections. Over the medium term, we expect mobile broadband services to drive overall growth within the segment. ...Over the medium term, we expect mobile broadband services to drive overall growth within the segment.
