In May ----, the Business Competition Supervisory Commission announced that it is cooperating with the United Nations Development Programme to create public access to affordable medicines. In particular, the organisation intends to recommend regulatory changes to improve access to medicines. ...While the names have yet to be disclosed, the authorities welcomed their interest and noted that the government is pushing efforts to develop the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. That same month, the government advised parents to consult their doctors and consider re-inoculating their children following the police discovering a criminal syndicate selling fake vaccines for more than a decade in Indonesia.
