Abstract:

The European Commission temporary suspended all projects funded through the European Regional Developments Funds for the period ---------, claiming there is a suspicion that a construction cartel has been exploiting the funds flowing into Greece. The formation of supervisory council, which will appoint the fund s administrative board, has not taken place so far. The construction of the underground section of TAP pipeline in Greece, Albania and Italy started in June ----, while the inauguration ceremony that marked the start of the construction in the Greek segment of the pipeline held on May -- ----.
