...Angola s budding relationship with China is likely to be another key factor in the development of the industry over the next few years. December ---- saw the Angolan Minister of Geology and Mining Francisco Queiroz meet with Chinese Mining Minister Jiang Daming in Beijing to discuss cooperation between the two countries mining industries. According to Angola s minister, there is already cooperation in place between the two countries in terms of geological and mining reporting as part of the National Geologies Plan (Planageo), which was launched by the Angolan government in May ----. The Angolan government is also pursuing potential partnership agreements with private organisations in order to bring on board much needed expertise, as well as infrastructure investment that will help support increased development of the country s resources.
