| Abstract: | OVERVIEW We lowered our ratings on two classes and affirmed our rating on one other class from HSI Asset Loan Obligation Resecuritization Trust 2006-1R, a U.S. RMBS re-REMIC transaction. The downgrades reflect rapid deterioration in the performance of the mortgages backing the underlying certificate, and the affirmation reflects the amount of credit support within the re-REMIC. NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Nov. 4, 2009--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today lowered its ratings on two classes of certificates from HSI Asset Loan Obligation Resecuritization Trust 2006-1R (HALO 2006-1R), a U.S. residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) resecuritized real estate mortgage investment conduit (re-REMIC) transaction.
