| Abstract: | Standard&Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AA-' underlying rating (SPUR) on Santa Fe, N.M.'s series 2006C subordinate-lien gross receipts tax (GRT)/wastewater improvement revenue bonds, and lowered its SPUR on the city's parity series 2005 municipal recreation complex net revenue/subordinate-lien GRT revenue refunding bonds to 'AA-' from 'AA' due to an error correction. The bonds are secured by a parity subordinate lien on the city's general gross receipts taxes and should be rated on par. The ratings reflect Santa Fe's: History of strong debt service coverage (DSC); Positive trends in gross receipts tax collections, which have not declined in the past 10 years; and Broad range of products and services included by GRTs.
