| Abstract: | Standard&Poor's assigned its 'A+' rating, with stable outlook, to K-12 School District #24 (Huntley), Mont.'s general obligation (GO) bonds. The rating reflects our opinion of the district's: Proximity to the city of Billings, the state's most populous city; Good reserve levels between fiscals 2006 and 2008 and an expected increase in reserves for fiscal 2009; Moderate overall debt burden at 4.5% of market value combined with no additional debt plans for the foreseeable future and an expected amortization of just 15 years. The credit strengths are tempered by the district's relatively small tax base, which is somewhat mitigated by the absence of plans to further leverage the district's tax base. The district will issue the bonds as qualified
