| Abstract: | NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Sept. 16, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today lowered its ratings on 16 American International Group Inc. subsidiary insurance-supported bond issues and placed the ratings on CreditWatch with negative implications (see list). These rating actions follow the lowering of our counterparty credit rating on American International Group (NYSE: AIG) and our ratings on its subsidiaries, as well as the placement of these ratings on CreditWatch negative (see "American International Group Ratings Lowered And Kept On CreditWatch Negative," published Sept. 15, 2008, and "American International Group Inc.
