| Abstract: | Standard&Poor's Ratings Services has assigned a preliminary 'AAA' credit rating to the first issuance under BNP Paribas' covered bond program of up to €25 billion issued by BNP Paribas Covered Bonds. The proposed size of the first issuance is up to €2.5 billion, but this is subject to change. Under the terms of the program, BNP Paribas Covered Bonds will issue the covered bonds, and use the proceeds to fund a credit facility to be made available to BNP Paribas. The advances will match the terms and conditions of the covered bonds to ensure full and timely payment under the covered bonds.
