| Abstract: | NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's CreditWire) May 24, 1999--Standard&Poor's today assigned its triple-'A' preliminary rating to Citibank Credit Card Master Trust Series 1999-4's Swiss franc 1.25 billion floating-rate class A certificates and its single-'A' preliminary rating to the trust's $52.7 million floating-rate class B certificates. Series 1999-4 is Citibank Credit Card Master Trust I's fifth transaction in the new year and the 39th series outstanding in the Master Trust. The class A certificates are supported by both the subordination of the class B certificates and a shared cash collateral account (CCA) equal to 11%. The trust will also enter into a class A currency swap agreement with Westdeustche Landesbank Gironzentrale (double-'A'-plus corporate credit rating) for the benefit of
