...Arrears levels in UK nonconforming RMBS transactions have shown signs of stabilisation over the last quarter. The Fitch Ratings' three months plus arrears index for Q309 shows the volume of loans currently three or more months in arrears at 19.0% of the current value of outstanding loans, the same as Q209. This is the first time since Q407 that arrears levels have not risen. Although arrears are stabilising, Fitch still has significant concerns over the performance of the nonconforming sector.
