US - In April ####, the board of Fidelity National Information Services Inc, a provider of financial institution processing, card issuing and transaction processing services, authorized the repurchase of up to $### mil of the company's common stock outstanding, in open market or privately negotiated transactions.

CHINA - Ping An Insurance (Group) Co of China Ltd was rumored to be planning to acquire a ##% stake in Taizhou Commercial Bank Co Ltd. The transaction was subject to regulatory approval.

HONG KONG - An investor group, comprised of Best Castle Group Ltd, Jolly Wing Holdings Ltd, Gold Gain Group Ltd, and Happy Rise Group Ltd, agreed to acquire a #.##% stake, or ###.### mil ordinary shares, in Belle International Holdings Ltd, a ladies shoes manufacturer and retailer, from Profit Discovery Ltd, MS Shoe Ltd, MS Shoe II Ltd, and CDH Retail Ltd, for #.# Hong Kong dollars ($#.### US) per share, or a total value of HK$#.### bil ($###.### mil), in a privately negotiated transaction.

CHINA - Xinjiang Huitong (Group) Co Ltd planned to raise its interest to ##%, by acquiring a ##% interest in Xinjiang Huitong Mining Investment Co Ltd, an investment company, from Mr. Xiao Kewu (##%) and Mr. Shenqiang (##%), for ##.# mil Chinese yuan ($#.### mil US).

RUSSIA - Archangel Diamond Corp of Canada agreed to acquire a ##.##% stake in OAO Arkhangelskoe Geologodobychnoe Predprlyatie, a diamond mining company, from OAO LUKOIL Holdings AG, for #.### bil Russian rubles (C$###.### mil Canadian dollars/$### mil US) in cash. The transaction was subject to regulatory approval.

AUSTRALIA - Sofcom Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding {MoU} to acquire Loansinsurance.com.au Pty Ltd, a loans services provider. The transaction was subject to due diligence completion and to shareholder approval. The transaction was to include the domain names loansinsurance.com, loans-insurance.com, loans-insurance.com.au, and the associated mortgage and insurance business.

PHILIPPINES - In April ####, First Philippine Holdings Corp (FP) announced that it was seeking a buyer for its ##% stake, in First Philippine Electric Corp, a consulting services provider and an ##%-owned unit of FP.

US - Deep Down Inc agreed to acquire all the outstanding stock of Flotation Technologies Inc, a manufacturer of deepwater buoyancy systems, for an estimated $##.# mil. The transaction was subject to customary closing conditions.

AUSTRALIA - Mobi Ltd agreed to divest its MobiData Holdings Ltd unit, a communications services provider, to an undisclosed acquiror, for #.# mil Australian dollars ($#.### mil US). The transaction was subject to due diligence completion.

CHINA - Wuxi Little Swan Co Ltd planned to acquire a ##% stake in Ningbo Little Swan Electric Appliance Co Ltd, a household appliances manufacturer and wholesaler, from Jiangsu Little Swan Group Co Ltd.

INDIA - Infina Finance Pvt Ltd acquired a ##.##% stake in Business Standard Ltd, a financial newspaper publisher, from Pearson PLC's Financial Times Ltd unit. Terms are not disclosed.

IRELAND - Avnet (Holdings) Ltd (AL) of the UK, a unit of Avnet Inc, agreed to launch a tender offer to acquire the entire ordinary share capital of Horizon Technology Group PLC (HT), a Dublin-based provider of computer integrated systems services, for #.## euros (#.### British pounds/$#.### US) in cash per share, or a total value of ##.### mil euros (##.### mil pounds/$###.### mil). The offer was conditioned upon at least ##% of HTs shares being tendered. AL received irrevocable undertakings to accept the offer with respect to ##.##% of HT's entire ordinary share capital. Upon declaration of being wholly unconditional, AL was to exercise its rights to compulsorily acquire all remaining shares not tendered pursuant to the offer and apply for the delisting of HT shares in the Irish stock Exchange.

US - Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC acquired Harris Acoustic Products Inc, a manufacturer of underwater acoustic hydrophones, projectors and related electronics, from Channel Technologies Inc, for an estimated $# mil in cash. The transaction had been subject to regulatory approvals.

CHINA - Changshu #F Zhonghao Chemical New Material Co Ltd, a ##%-owned unit of Shanghai #F New Materials Co Ltd, signed a Letter of Intent {LoI}to acquire the remaining ##% interest, which it did not already own, in Inner Mongolia #F Fluorochemical Co Ltd, a fluorine materials manufacturer and wholesaler, from Fengzhen Fengrun Investment Co Ltd.

US - In April ####, the board of Schlumberger Ltd, a provider of oilfield services, authorized the repurchase of up to $# bil of the company's common stock outstanding in open market transactions.

US - Rick's Cabaret International Inc definitively agreed to acquire DI Food & Beverage LLC, doing business as Scores Las Vegas, an owner and operator of adult nightclubs, for $## mil. The consideration was to consist of $## mil in cash and $# mil in convertible debenture. The transaction was subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

US - UniTek USA LLC (UU) agreed to acquire the cable services operating unit of ### Connect Inc, a provider of installation services. Concurrently, UU agreed to acquire certain installation services of DirecTV Group Inc. The two transactions were to have a combined value of an undisclosed amount in cash and in exchange for UU's satellite installation services in New York, Burbank, California and Bloomington, California.

US - International Business Machines Corp acquired Diligent Technologies Corp, a developer of data protection software. Terms were not disclosed.

KAZAKHSTAN - Central Asia Resources Ltd (CA) planned to acquire the remaining ##% stake, which it did not already own, in Golden Eagle Investment Resources Ltd, a gold mining company, from Mr. Philippe Reiser, in exchange for ## mil new CA ordinary shares valued at ###.### mil Kazakhstan tenges (#.### mil Australian dollars/$#.### mil US). The shares were valued based on CA's closing stock price of ##.### tenges (A$#.###/$#.###) on April ##, the last full trading day prior to the announcement. The transaction was subject to the approval of the shareholders.

US - DIRECTV Group Inc definitively agreed to acquire all the outstanding common stock of ### Connect Inc, a provider of installation services, for $#.# per share, or a total value of $##.## mil.

US - Advance Exploration & Production Inc, a wholly-owned unit of Advance Energy Ltd, agreed to raise its interest to ##% from ##.#%, by acquiring a ##.#% interest in the Morthelode Phase I project, located in Martin County, Texas, an oil and gas exploration and production property, for $#.# mil.

US - Raytheon Co acquired SI Government Solutions, a provider of security solution software. Terms were not disclosed.

US - UniTek USA LLC (UU) agreed to acquire certain installation services of DirecTV Group Inc, a provider of digital television services. CHINA - Yuchai Machinery Monopoly Co Ltd (YM), a majority-owned unit of China Yuchai International Ltd, acquired the remaining ##% interest, which it did not already own, in Hainan Yuchai Marketing Co Ltd, a diesel engine spare parts wholesaler, from its joint venture partner, Guangxi Yuchai Logistics Group Co Ltd, for #.### mil Chinese yuan ($#.### mil US) in cash. Concurrently, YM agreed to acquire the remaining ##% interest in Guiyang Yuchai Machinery Monopoly Co Ltd, the remaining ##% interest in Harbin Yuchai Marketing Co Ltd, and the remaining ##.#% interest in Zhengzhou Yuchai Marketing Co Ltd. UK - Crown Estate agreed to acquire the offshore wind turbine of Clipper Windpower PLC, a London-based manufacturer of turbines.

UK - Unimerco Group AS of Denmark acquired Derek Walmsley & Co Ltd, a Sheffield-based manufacturer of tools.

GERMANY - Strabag SE agreed to acquire a ##% interest in Kirchner Holding Gmbh, a Bad Hersfeld-based construction company. Terms were not disclosed. The transaction was subject to regulatory approval.

RUSSIA - Sakha Enterprises Corp of Canada acquired the entire share capital of Severnyi LPK, a manufacturer of Forestry products.

CANADA - Sagittarius Capital Corp (SC) agreed to acquire all the outstanding stock of Diversified Energy & Resource Corp, an investment company, in exchange for ###.## mil SC common shares, valued at ##.### mil Canadian dollars ($##.### mil US). The shares were valued based on SC's closing stock price of C$#.## ($#.###) on April ##, the last full trading day prior to the announcement.
