| The Group's principal activities are brewing and selling malt beverages and cider throughout the United States and in selected international markets. The Group's brands include Samuel Adams Boston Lager (R), Sam Adams Light(TM), HardCore(R) Crisp Hard Cider, Twisted Tea (TM) etc. The beverages consist of beers with full-flavor and without adjuncts such as rice, corn, stabilizers and without water dilution. The Group sold a total of eighteen beers under the Samuel Adams(R) brand name, four flavored malt beverage products under the Twisted Tea(R) brand name, and one hard cider product under the HardCore(R) Cider brand name. It owns breweries in Cincinnati, Ohio and Boston, Massachusetts and contracts breweries in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, Tumwater, Washington, Rochester, New York and La Crosse, Wisconsin. The Group sells its products through distributors to pubs, restaurants, grocery chains, package stores and other retail outlets. |
