Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMC) is a Pakistan-based automobile manufacturing company. The Company is engaged in the assembling, manufacturing and marketing of Suzuki branded cars, pickups, vans, 4x4s and motorcycles, as well as related spare parts. The Company operates through two segments: Automobile and Motorcycles, which both include sales of own manufactured vehicles and spare parts and trading vehicles and spare parts. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company set up a new plant for motorcycles at Bin Qasim, and all the operations of motorcycles have been shifted to the new plant effective July 2011. During the same year, the Company produced 92,529 motorcars and 20,120 motorcycles out of its plant capacity of 150,000 and 37,000 respectively. As of December 31, 2011, PSMC was 73.09%-owned by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan (SMC).
