Zorlu Enerji Elektrik Uretim A.S. (Zorlu Enerji) is a Turkey-based company active in the energy sector. The Company is engaged in the generation and distribution of electric and steam energy. It has four natural gas combined cycle power plants in Ankara, Bursa and Kayseri, and three cogeneration plants in Luleburgaz, Kayseri and Yalova. The Company supplies electricity to a number of industrial and commercial companies with a total capacity of 420 megawatts (MW). In addition, the Company acquired nine power stations with a total installed capacity of 141 MW belonging to Ankara Natural Electric Generation and Trade Co. Inc. on March 5, 2008. Zorlu Enerji also carries out projects in the fields of electricity generation, natural gas, steam and wind power in Russia, Israel and Pakistan. It is involved in the construction of two electric power plants in Russia; a natural gas conversion and three cogeneration plants in Israel, and a wind farm in Pakistan. It is part of Zorlu Holding.
