| The Group's principal activities are to produce content, distribute TV channels and provide educational services. The Group operates in three segments namely: Broadcasting and content, Education and Film Production. The Broadcasting and Content segment consists of developing, producing and procuring television programming and film content and delivering via satellites. The Film Production segment consists of Production and distribution of films. The Education segment consists of distribution of software learning products, imparting education and training in IT. The Film Production and Distribution segment consists of production, acquisition and distribution of feature films, animation films and programs. The Group operates in India, USA, UK/Europe, Africa, Caribbean, Canada, Australia, Middle East, China and South Asian countries. During fiscal 2009, the Group acquired Asia Business Broadcasting (Mauritius) Limited. |
