| The Group's principal activity is to publish telephone directories. The Group markets and distributes directories and alphabetical pages, in addition to, managing commercial online directories. It is also the official publisher of Bell Canada, TELUS Communications Inc and others. It is publishing more than 340 different telephone directories with a total circulation of approximately 30 million copies annually. On 14-Feb-2006, the Group acquired Trader Media Corporation, on 08-Jun-2006, Trader Canada , on 02-Oct-2006, MTS Media, on 19-Apr-2007, LesPAC s.e.n.c., on 30-April-2007 acquired Aliant Directory Services and on 31-10- 2007 the Group acquired Vertical Guides Limited Partnership. It operates in two segments, namely, Directories and Vertical Media. The Directories segment operates in print and online directories, and specialized publications. The Vertical Media segment operates in the vertical print publications and web sites by topic or area of interest. |
