AK Zheleznye dorogi Yakutii OAO (AK Zheleznye dorogi Yakutii OJSC) is a Russia-based infrastructural railway company of the general use. The Company focuses on the provision of all railway related services, such as: traffic safety maintenance, railway repair, locomotive facilities, connection, passenger service and others. It has its own operational fleet of main line and shunting locomotives, locomotive depot, snow-removing equipment, cargo court yard and container platforms equipped by load-lifting mechanisms and the warehouse areas. The Company operates through five affiliated companies: Transsakhamost ZAO, Transugol’ OOO, Sterkh OAO, Aldanzolotobank ZAO and Yakutskaya ptitsefabrika OAO. As of December 31, 2009, AK Zheleznye dorogi Yakutii OAO was a 50%-owned affiliated company of RZhD OAO and a 40.55%-owned affiliated company of Yakutskiy depozitarnyi tsentr OAO.
