The Group's principal activity is to provide telecommunications services to its business customers. It operates through two segments: XOC and Nextlink. XOC provides a comprehensive array of wireline telecommunications using both advanced IP and traditional TDM technologies. It provides a broad portfolio of reliable, scalable and high-speed telecommunications services tailored for enterprise, business, carrier and content delivery customers. Nextlink operates a wireless business, its services provide critical telecommunications links within customer networks without requiring them to construct their own facilities or purchase capacity from the regional ILECs. It also provide carriers and end-user customers with network diversity and redundancy to permit them to deploy communications services that are less vulnerable to natural disasters or other disruptions than traditional, terrestrial-only telecommunications networks.
