Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activity is to provide telecommunications services to its business customers. It operates business in two business units: the Wireless Business and the Wireline Business. The Wireline Business is operated through the subsidiary X O Communications LLC. It owns and operates an integrated metropolitan and nationwide fiber optic network that provides a comprehensive array of telecommunications services to business customers in over 70 United States markets. The voice services include local and long distance services, prepaid calling card processing and interactive voice response systems. The data services include Internet access, private data networking and hosting services. The Wireless Business is operated through its wholly owned subsidiary, X O LMDS Holdings. This is in the early stages of development, and currently offers wireless T-1s, wireless dedicated internet access, and wireless Ethernet services utilizing broadband radio signals. |
