The Group's principal activity is to provide payment processing and information management services to commercial and government vehicle fleet industries in the US and Canada through a network that tracks purchases made on fleet charge cards. The Group gives clients detailed transaction data, analysis tolls and purchase control capabilities for every vehicle in the fleet. Data collected at the point of sale includes expenditure totals, lists of items purchased, ado meter readings and driver, vehicle or vendor identification. WEXCanada was incorporated in January 2007 to assist us in funding transactions with Canadian companies.
