| The Group's principal activity is designing, manufacturing and supplying mixed-signal integrated circuits. The Group's operation focuses on performance mixed-signal integrated circuits which are used to convert analogue signals into digital signals for storing and processing digital information. The integrated circuits are also used for conveying digital signals into the analogue signals required for sound and images. Applications include MP3 and personal media players, digital cameras, games consoles, digital TVs, sound systems as well as imaging products used in devices such as multifunction peripherals. Games platforms which uses mixed-signal integrated circuits are Sony PSP Playstation Portable device and the Microsoft XBox 360 video games systems. The Group operates predominantly in the United Kingdom. During 2007, the Group acquired the entire share capital of Sonaptic Ltd. |
