| The Group's principal activities are researching, developing, manufacturing and selling integrated circuits (ICs), various semiconductor components and other system products. Its product lines are divided into two groups, which include: dynamic random access memory (DRAM), such as commodity DRAM, specialty DRAM and mobile RAM, and NOR flash, such as parallel flash, serial flash and KGD. Its DRAM products are applied in mobile phones, personal digital assistant (PDA), global positioning system (GPS), printer, liquid crystal display television (LCD TV) and digital still camera (DSC), among others. Its NOR flash are applied in personal computer and peripheral products, wireless network, DSL, DVD set-top box and monitors, among others. Operations are carried out in Taiwan. The Group exports its products to Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, the United States of America and other countries. |
