The Group's principal activity is to grow and harvest timber, manufacture and sell forest products and real estate development and construction. It operates in six segments. Timberlands: Is engaged in the management of leased commercial forestland in North America. Wood Products: Produces and sells softwood lumber, plywood, hardwood lumber and engineered lumber products. Cellulose Fiber and White Papers: Manufactures papergrade, absorbent, dissolving and speciality grades of pulp. Containerboard, Packaging and Recycling: Manufactures linerboard, corrugating medium and kraft paper. Real Estate and Related Assets: Develops single-family housing and residential lots for sale. Corporate and Other: Includes marine transportation, distribution and converting facilities. It operates in the United States, Canada, Japan and Europe.
