The Group's principal activity is acquiring, exploring and developing coal mining properties for the international metallurgical coal markets. The Group operates coal mines and develops new coal resources in northeast British Columbia. It produces metallurgical and thermal coal from mines in northeast British Columbia (Canada) and West Virginia (USA). It has the capacity to produce 640,000 tonnes tonnes per year. The Group has the rights to two multi-deposit coal property groups, the Wolverine and Brazion groups of properties, which include approximately 35,000 hectares located in northeastern British Columbia under license or lease.
