Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activity is to provide solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in secondary market. It owns and operates 126 solid waste collection operations, 48 transfer stations, 29 recycling facilities and 35 active landfills. The Group provides intermodal services for the rail haul movement of cargo containers in the Pacific Northwest through a network of five intermodal facilities. The Group's services are provided under governmental certificates, exclusive franchise agreements, exclusive municipal contracts, residential subscriptions, residential contracts or commercial and industrial service agreements. As of 31-Dec-2007, the Group served approximately 1.5 residential, commercial and industrial customers in 23 states. |
