Vonage Holdings Corp. (Vonage) is a provider of voice and messaging services over broadband networks. The Company’s technology serviced approximately 2.4 million subscriber lines as of December 31, 2009. it serves customers in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The Company’s residential, small and home office services are portable and it enables its customers to make and receive phone calls with a telephone anywhere a broadband Internet connection is available. In August 2009, the Company launched Vonage World, a residential plan that includes unlimited calling to more than 60 countries, including India, Mexico and China for the flat monthly rate of $24.99. In October 2009, it launched Vonage Mobile, the Company’s first mobile calling application for smart phones. In December 2009, it began offering Vonage World Mobile using this mobile calling application. Bundle discounts are provided for customers who subscribe to both its residential and mobile Vonage World plans.
