| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and supply electronic components. The Group operates in two segments: Passive Components and Semiconductors. Passive electronic components include resistive products, capacitors, inductors, strain gage transducers and stress analysis systems. Semiconductors include rectifiers, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits such as power ICs and analog switches. Ectronic components primarily consist of diodes, transistors, power MOSFETS, power conversion, motor control integrated circuits, optoelectronic components and IRDCs. The Group has operations in the United States, Germany, Asia pacific, France, Israel and other Europe. On 23-Jul-2008 it acquired Powertron GmbH and on 15-Sep-2008, it acquired KEMET Corporation. |
