| The Group's principal activity is to develop and commercialize products that address serious diseases treated by physician specialists, in areas including hospital settings, transplant medicine and gastroenterology. It is focused on the marketing and sale of its commercialized product, Vancocin, an oral capsule to treat antibiotic-associated pseudomembranous colitis caused by Clostridium difficile and enterocolitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus, including methicillin-resistant strains. The development activities are currently focused on product candidates to treat viral diseases including those caused by cytomegalovirus (CMV) and hepatitis C (HCV) infections. |
