The Group's principal activity is to provide entertainment and communication business. It also provides a 'quad-play' offering of broadband, television, mobile telephone and fixed line telephone services. It includes three segments: Cable, Mobile and Content. Cable segment includes the distribution of television programming. Mobile segment includes the provision of mobile telephone and data services under the name Virgin Mobile and Content segment includes the operations of the Group's U.K Television channels. It operates in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
