| The Group's principal activities are cellular telecommunications; radiotelephone communications; electronic parts and equipment; electrical work; related services. The Group is traded on the New York Stock Exchange. VimpelCom offers AMPS/D-AMPS, GSM-1800 and Bee Line network systems. The most popular line network is Bee Line, used by twenty other national AMPS operators and two AMPS operators from CIS. In 31 of December 2007 was 48.1 million subscribers in Russia and 7 million in the CIS countries outside Russia (3.8 millions in Kazachstan and 1.88 in Ukraine). |
