The Group's principal activity is to produce and distribute television programming, motion pictures and other entertainment in the United States, Europe and in other countries. It operates through two segments: Media Networks and Filmed Entertainment. Media Networks provides entertainment content for consumers in key demographics attractive to advertisers, distributors and retailers. The Filmed Entertainment segment produces finances and distributes motion pictures and other entertainment content under the Paramount Pictures, Paramount VantageTM, Paramount ClassicsTM, MTV Films and Nickelodeon MoviesTM brands.
