| The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture, sales and services of advanced equipment and software products for treating cancer with radiation. The activities are carried through two Segments: Oncology Systems and X-ray products. The Oncology Systems Segment designs, manufactures, sells and services hardware and software products for treating cancer with radiation. The products include linear accelerators, treatment simulation and verification products, information management and treatment planning software, advanced brachytherapy products and software and other sophisticated accessory products and servicesThe X-ray Products Segment designs, manufactures and sells X-ray imaging components and subsystems including X-Ray tubes and flat panel imaging products. The Group operates in North America, Europe, Asia and other countries. In Fis 2007, the Group acquired ACCEL Instruments GmbH and Bio-Imaging Research Inc. |
