The Group's principal activities are to producing investment related periodical publications and making available copyrighted data, including Value Line proprietary ranking system information and other proprietary information under agreements to third parties and providing investment management services to the Value Line Funds. It operates in two business segments: Investment Periodicals, Related Publications and Copyright Data and Investment Management. The investment related periodicals include stocks, mutual funds, options and convertible securities. Copyright Data Fees Programs distributes under copyright agreements for fees including certain proprietary ranking system information and other proprietary information used in third party products, including unit investment trusts, annuity trusts, managed accounts and exchange traded funds. Investment Management Services consists of 14 mutual funds registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940.
