| The Group's principal activity is to own and operate acute care hospitals, behavioral health centers and ambulatory surgery and radiation oncology centers. The Group operates through three segments: Acute Care Hospital Services, Behavioral Health Care Services and Other. The services provided by the Group include general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics, emergency room care, radiology, oncology, diagnostic care, coronary care, pediatric services and behavioral health services. As on 26-Feb-2009, the Group owned and/or operated 26 acute care hospitals and 101 behavioral health centers located in 32 states, Washington, DC and Puerto Rico. |
